Bad windshield glare fix??

hello all, one problem with my car lately is really bad glare during the day on the windshield, from the wiper blades. cleaning the windshield does nothing, and i think the glare is from the wiper blades being left on when it wasn't wet from the previous owner of the car.

so cleaning the windshield does nothing, i even tried claybarring it, and theres still bad glares the whole extent of the wiper blade range on the glass.

i'm way too cool for sunglasses, but whenever the sun hits the windshield i like cant see

anyone know of some solution to this problem?

I'm not sure if there are any other options to clean the outside of the windshield, but you might try cleaning the inside of the windshield too. Often when I get a bad glare from the windshield, it is because the inside is dirty.

My glare is from inside and outside. Sometimes you have to really clean the crap out of it.

That'll work out well for you in 30 years or so. You're not really cool.

Call an auto glass shop in your area and have them come take a look at it if you think something is physically wrong with the glass. I know a few shops around here have a polish that takes tiny scratches out of windshields.

Can you try to post a pic? I'm not sure I understand what you're talking about. If cleaning the windshield inside and out doesn't do anything, there's nothing you can do. Get some polarized sunglasses or try to find some kind of polarized tint you can get.

try this:

with alcohol and some cotton clean the glass, inside part

sometimes the dirt stay in this part and when you turn on your defrost the window are like you have fog inside

the alcohol helps to clean the dirt and when in the car wash the people put their hands in the glass

I used dish soap to clean the inside and outside of the windshield, and it works pretty well.

Call your local auto glass company so they can get those micro-scratches out.

yea guys still nothing on this windshield deal, huh? idk what to do, i cleaned the **** out of it, inside and out (problems on the outside) claybared it, i just don't know.

once again, what it looks like is the windshield wipers left glare marks for their whole rotation, probably from being left on when it wasnt raining or something.

I answered it earlier. Call safelite and have them come out and do it. It's cheap.

No? Why should I? Scarring your retinas at a young age isn't cool and when you get to be my age you'll appreciate taking care of them.

white Jeweler's Rouge on the glass, good sunglasses on your face. Do it.
