What type of paint did you paint it with and how did you do it?

I completely debadged the back but I wish I would've just taken the chevy badge off instead.

If you really feel patient, take off the COBALT from the trunk, paint the letters black and reapply them

I took the bowtie off the back and left the rest . I might take the little GM squares off the sides too.

Full debadge except for the SS on the doors, and paint the front Bowtie black. The trunk lid looks so clean with nothing on it.

I dont know why people take ALL of the badges off. They say it looks clean, I say it makes them look weak. Just like taking the wing off. Why would you take the wing off? Those people need to just go get a regular cobalt. I didnt buy my 93 z28 and take off the emblems and wing. I guess its a difference in taste. I like my vehicles to look like they have some ass and not like a little girly car.

Take em off, if people can't tell it's an SS without the badges they don't matter anyways

There's a black SS/TC running around here that has debadged then reinstalled the Cobalt across the trunk lid about where the bowtie was (sure I've seen a few on here too ) and it looks tight

My $0.02

Explain to us how removing the word Cobalt and a gold bowtie make the car look any more girly than it already does.

I took everything off the back, gm squares off the sides, and took apart my front bowtie and painted it VR...I think it looks really clean now with just the SS badges on the sides with the front bowtie colormatched. But, to each their own...

I'm mainly talking about no wing at all. but if I have a ss, I want it to say ss. I'm not against taking some of the badges off, just leave the ones that look tougher. ss on a cobalt definately looks less girly than no badges at all. Everyone has there own opinion and I've seen some REALLY nice cars on here debaged except for the ss badges. I dont like those little gm badges or the HUGE bowties either.
