have u heard any news on the canadian orders, i found out my dealer is getting 7 of them some time end of march or april all ss/sc

 

i thought you said just a while ago..they were only building 567 for canada

 

my dealer told there getting 7 of them and one is mine guess ill wait and see i test drove a new mustang gt sweet car........ to much on insurance tho

 

My dealer says he has 3 coming in week of March 21, one of them is mine. GM Canada concurs that SS/SC will start arriving in Canada within 2-8 weeks

 

where in ontario u from keeper,im in toronto area what colour u getting

 

In the KW area, Rally Yellow, yellow inserts, sunroof

 

thats cool. im getting the blue ss/sc blue inserts

 

so where kw u from the kawartha area or keele and wilson area

 

that was a very close 2nd, almost had to flip a coin to decide, but i like the yellow, i wanna stand out LOL i'm a sucker for attention

well i have been pissed in the delays and stuff its my first g.m i never expericance this b4. my last cars have been i had 98 interga type-r and a infiniti g20 that im trading in so lets hope all goes well with this i read alot articles on sport comapct mags and nopi tuner magizines they say good thing about it what sucks the lsd and recaro r n/a in canada welll thats what i heard

 

yea i've heard about that too. Might consider buying one from the States and bringing it up here with the LSD and Ricarro

I'm pretty sure the duty and taxes are going to kill you. If you do finance your car somehow, I don't think the duty will be included. You may also need a whole lot of paperwork too. Just wait it out. Actually, look into this further because I'm too lazy to.

That would be nice. I may have to go that route as well depending on whether I can get one. The dealers around here keep on telling me that they have a bunch on order, but don't expect delivery until May. If that's the case, and the previous rumor is correct regarding no 2005 production after March 31 so they can retool for the 2006 model, I doubt the local dealers will see many. In fact, sales in Canada seem to be an after-thought for GM considering I haven't heard of a Canadian Autoshow yet that has had an SS S/C present. I just received confirmation, from a number of sources, that our autoshow this weekend won't have one... I already have tickets !! arrgggg

 

The toronto autoshow had one....initially for the first few days they didnt have the SS/sc there but supposedly a bunch of people were complainig that it wasnt there....so they brought one up....Im lucky I waited till the last friday of the show, cuz that was the only car I realy wanted to see...so if i were you I would get a bunch of people to complain why its not there

 

There is no duty or tarrifs between Canada and the USA - it's FREE TRADE.
However Canada does have the GST, something the USA needs (sorry to say it).
