Yeah, it's a beastly motor. Fun to drive especially on the highway.

why not beat on it now so if something breaks there's a possibilty they will cover it under warranty? i never understood why people want to wait till the warranty's up.

As the other posts indicate, it's now time to set her free. It's good for the rings at this point.
It's funny these days that modern engines rarely arrive "raw" at the dealer. The break-in process is almost always handled at the factory to some extent.
The rest of the car however, is a different story. Breaking in the brake-pads is critical to proper rotor wear........and I forgot to do it myself; I had "new car fever" and it slipped my mind.
The procedure involves bringing the car up to speed (60mph) and hammering the brakes down to a roll........repeat........3 to 4 times. It "seats the pads" and prevents glazing down the road. I'm suprized it isn't mentioned in the owners manual.

Moncton! I used to be a lifegaurd at Shediac Beach as a summer job when I was in high school in Fredericton. A tropical-like setting with a beutifull white sand beach, but I always dreaded somone having trouble in the water because HOLY MOTHERF^#$@#! That water is COLD!
It'll suck your nuts so far into your body, you'll pray for a quick death by drowning!

Good luck out there.

Yes! You are just fine.

Just make sure the engine/oil is warm before getting on the throttle too hard.
