Black stock rims w/ red calipers on a black ss/sc??

I want to see a pic of it!!!
I'm kinda tossing around the idea of painting my wheels black. I've seen it on some other ss/sc's and I think it looks pretty good but I'm not sure if I like it enough to do it to mine. But I'm gonna be painting my calipers red in a few weeks and I thought that might look really sick with black rims on a black ss/sc. Anyone have that on theirs? I want to see some pics before I actually were to do it...

I had the stock wheels painted black, but my calipers were black.... I think the way you want it to look, will look good esp w/your taillights being red.

^^Yea I think it might look really badass, I just want to see some pics first because it's a big project so I'd want to be 100% sure I want it before I do it. Post a pic of yours with the black rims and everything and I'm sure I could ghetto-photoshop it haha.

^^ I agree with you... But i done it as a change for a while. Im done with it already n moving on to another style. I think i found a set of stock chrome ss/sc wheels to trade my black wheels for. But yea def chrome > black as far as stock wheels go.

I was working on painting the headlights today haha. They're drying right now.

My plan is to paint my calipers red when I go down to VA to see my dad in a few weeks and then go from there. I'll probably stay with the chrome, but I was just curious to see if anyone had a pic of it done

the problem with black calipers is they don't stand out as much. Atleast not on a black car imo. Not sure how it would look on red.

also red calipers are stupid because they just get dirty really fast then they don't look red and look trashy no madder how much you clean your car just keep it the way it is if not paint them black[/QUOTE]

my calipers don't get dirty fast at all
and i hope they don't look trashy

Well when i did the eyelids i had never seen another design than the one i did. I really like the ones you posted. I have been thinking about changing up the eyelids for something different.
