going n/a to match that nitrous setup is gonna cost alot more than you are antisipating. you can't just buy heads and cams and throw them on there with exhaust/intake/tune. You are gonna want studs, springs, retainers, you're gonna have to have them installed unless you know what you are doing. Going n/a is expensive. I would go with the juice or f/i.

the stage two heads come ready to roll with aftermarket valve train and all i would need to do is put in the cams, and get hptuners. I am kind of leaning towards the spray b/c it will be cheaper, easier, more then likely faster. and more sleeper IMO. but i still love the idea of a N/A build.

Use the spray list and add the jbp cams. At least thats what i'm doing. Was considering ferra's dual valve springs, locks, retainers and vavles but realized how much all that adds up. So my choice is full bolt-ons, cams, 50-75 shot and tune and you should be in the 275whp range. With the bolt-ons and cams alone you'll be at 200-220whp

that would be the nitrous set up.......

i was talking to 08sport, and he was talking about doing direct port injection for the nitrous. less chance of a backfire.

lol oops forgot to add the cams and heads in there. I voted Spray anyways, better bang for your buck IMO. Plus it's kickass, just think, how many people do you know have nitrous in there DD. I don't know any.

then i will really take a long time to get everything done. if i do nitrous then in a year or so i could have it almost done. N/A is going to take a year or two more over spray, and both is well to long IMO.

yeah with the DD with nitrous, i wouldn't keep it hooked up in the car. but i would really enjoy spending one day in the garage and pull out with a low 14 second car.

Just give up and stop caring about how fast your car is.....thats what I did

im j/k man....personally, i'd go with the all motor setup b/c im not a fan of nitrous. But either way would be pretty sweet.

you're going to be pretty slow if you stay n/a. I say go spray or f/i. You could pick up a supercharger set up from someone on the boards or just go turbo and make big power.

STFU.. pretty slow with na? and why's that?

i say go na.. there was someone on here with about 230 whp with cams and bolt ons..

i know someone who's running full bolt ons and nitrous and they're running about 275 whp 290 trq but he has issues with his plugs every other week.. and there are a bunch of ion guys running nitrous in their dd as well as a bunch of balt guys running nitrous in their dd..

you already pushed out a 15 second 1/4 you might be able to run a 14 like 08sport with full bolt ons and cams you'll be able to do high 13s assuming traction can be had.. either that or do a custom turbo setup.. or sc setup.. but i say N/A or boost

it's not that i'm not a fan of nitrous.. i've actually thought about it.. just a correctly done setup is gonna be expensive (one you can take on the track) and you have the cost of refilling it so it can really rack up big time

I personally like the idea of always having the power when you need it......with nitrous you have to worry about your bottle being filled which is lame. Go N/A.
