Broke but need tires? Are cheap ones worth it?
My Perelli tires are just about shot after 2.5 years ( well the front ones at least ) And I just got a flat last night going home from work. How will the car respond to cheaper tires? Like Goodyear eagle RS-a's ...I heard bad reviews on them but I need somthing ASAP for the winter here in Ny or im not even going to be able to leave the driveway in a storm..Not to mention im broke! I have a membership at sams club and the Goodyear eagles are $64 a piece with the membership discount normally $90......what do you guys think>? I have 16 inch Rims with the stock perell performance tires
Thanks

For your LS pretty much any name branded tire, with tire type you desire will be fine.... ie: all season, dry performance, snow and Ice will be fine!
The RS-A's are a pretty damn good tire, had them on my 99 Grand Am GT pretty descent grip, but once they wear get kinda' squirley in the wet!
Or you can get Falkens in 16s or 17s whatever you have fairly cheap and my ZE-512s are a good ALL AROUND tire for dry to snow performance!

I'm not sure what size your looking at, but if they are available look at the BFGoodrich Traction T/A. Depending on speed rating it's a 60,000 or 70,000 mile tire. It's directional, does well in snow and handles well on dry roads. Normally it's also one of the lesser expensive tires you will find in a given size.
