Exclamation Bug season is comming!!!!

Well as you all know its alomost that time of the yr again for our little friends to make a showing (the bugs) Now I'm quite amazed at how many people don't put on a bug screen in the front of their rads??!! I mean on the Coby its very simple and wont show at all...So my advice to you all.. Just do it and save your car some grief and then if you ever sell your car your rad will look nice and newish..Anyways I'm just sick as a dog here but I thought I'd hand out some advice to you all...

Hmm don't know where your from but in Texas bug season never ends. One thing I never planned on when I moved here but we get these huge bugs that blow up on your windshield/front bumper like you wouldn't believe. It looks like you hit an egg sometimes...

Yeah, bug season here in AZ is more of a constant as well, despite the lack of water. No idea where they all come from!

Speaking of dirty cars, though, would any of use feel ok running it through one of those 15-buck car wash places where they put it through a machine and then do the inside? My main worry is that the machine may damage the wing. Not sure how strong that is...also whether or not the guide they put the car on may scrape the wheel... what do you all think? I need a wash bad, and I've only had it a week now.

If you keep a solid fresh coat of wax on the car they will wash right off. And those leather/pleather/vinyl covers mess up your paint worse than the bugs do.

Bugs are a bitch in Kentucky...I hate them. You cant drive the car a mile without hitting a damn bug.

Dealer tried to sell me a package detail using a product called Xzilon. They said it is the same stuff that is used on airplanes to resist dirt and staining and will allow me to hose off bugs and dirt. They said that they guarantee the coating for five years and the cost was $450 which included the interior and exterior of the car. I spoke to a local detail shop who said a good wax will do the same thing. Has anyone tried the Xzilon?

Bugscren = . Invest in some bar and tar remover. I usually get the bug and tar remover made by Turtle Wax in the black and green bottle. Spray some of that on there at the carwash and use one of those auto cleaning sponges with the pressure washer and you are good to go.

In Michigan, High Humidity and decent temperatures give way to a bug fest. They literally look like a swarm in the middle of the road. you can't help but run into one of these clouds of bugs every 1/2 a mile (even worse away from the city) and I've more disgusting bumpers then that Acura on my SS last year, let me put it to you this way, if you thought the bumper was red you were sadly mistaken. It took me after only a week of driving to collect all that **** and several hours to clean that **** off with professional grade materials and the car was waxed the week before, no sign that it looked ever waxed.

We get some of the meanest sons of a bitches of bugs too.

I'm from Louisiana and down there, oh boy. Love bug's are the worst thing you ever seen. The swarms get so thick at times you can see them a mile or more away and you gotta stop every so often to clean your windshield so you can actually see where your going.
