Hi RB
Do you hit "new posts" or "my posts" when you sign on? It is to "bump" posts back toward the top of the lists.
I finally figured it out when someone said "bump for night shift"!

Hey, do you guys ever "Chat"? I've never tried it.

The odds of a 07 having Recaros is extremely rare.

Sorry, RB. The Recaro seats were only in the first few months production of '07s. You could have them if your car was built then, the seats say Recaro right on them.
If you got the LSD for $795 sticker, you don't have them. The recaros cost $700 more.
You've still got a beautiful car there, man I love that color!

Recaro is an accessory seat manufacturer that is famous probably worldwide. Their seats have been used in many cars, including some of the superhigh $$$ exotics, that's why GM even had the Recaro name stitched right into the seat. Recaro is probably the world leader in seat technology.
There have been lots of threads here discussing those seats. People seem to really like them better than the stockers, from the pictures they look like they have more side support to keep one planted.
There is at least one supporting vendor here who sells Recaros. Last time I looked they were around $1K each and that is a low price for those seats, so $700 for the pair in a new car was a good deal.

FWI understand the Recaros were dropped because they couldn't take the airbag weight sensor that GM added in '07. If you tried to switch to any aftermarket seat you'd have to rig the sensor to work, wouldn't want to get in an accident and not have the passenger protected with a front airbag!
I'd just enjoy the stock seats and not worry about it.

Oh, definately. I don't care so much as long as theres some sort of seat to sit in.
