Can this be done?

I want to put the Pontiac G5 grill on my LT. My idea is to fill the pontiac symbol in with bondo and then make mesh grill inserts for where the plastic grill inserts are.

does anyone know if it will fit?

i know the cross piece on the front bumper comes out...how i dont know and the pontiac one would fit in the space
