I'm either buying an 06 or 07 SS

I'm stuck between Red, Yellow, or Black.

All lowered on springs. Hid's. Msr's eventually (I KNOW I KNOW ). High Rise. Tc Grille. Pretty Basic Appearance Mods. I literally can't decide. Make some pro's and con's. Help me out

 

well def eliminate black. its by far the most boring

 

My dad says it looks like a black computer mouse driving around without a high rise

but i like it. Just not sure if i would enjoy owning an all black car.

 

black sucks dont get it, either red or yellow, both are screaming for a ticket, i would say red just because next to a corvettes "canary yellow" the cobalt yellow looks dull.

 

I hate red and yellow, so I'd say black, I'm more of a blue or silver guy anyway, blends in more with traffic

 

Well this is my ranked list for Cobalt SS colors
White (i know its only on SS/TC)
Blues (any of the different shades)
Orange
Red (any of the different shades)
Silver
Yellow
Black

 

If you want to stand out, catch attention, RED/YELLOW.
If you wanna be a normal average looking car then black.

I personally don't like the black as you can't really see the shape of the car fully, it "hides" its features. Hard to explain. But on light colors you can see the car more clearly. Black makes it all blend in like a swamp of ink. When it comes to appearance mods, black on black is overrated. Black on white would be your best pick and it would still look weird with red tails, the chrome headlights would look okay.

I mean I don't know it's really your choice. I used to hate red, ended up buying a red cobalt, now I love it!

 

do u have 2 ur picking from or are u trying to decide if u want an 06 or 07? id go with the one that has the lowest miles or if one has g85 package and I dont care for yellow but thats me.

Red looks.. meh i dont like it, and yeah youre asking for a ticket in Red or yellow

 

Ive had a red ss/sc for almost 6 years and have been pulled over once.. for forgetting to renew my sticker lol. People say red and yellow get pulled over more often, but I think thats total bs. Now, stick a loud exhaust on, or street race often, and it doesnt matter what color car you have. Youre going to attract attention.

 

Colors aside, I'd go with the 07 because it has a better center stack (radio, etc), better steering wheel, etc.

 

i dnt really get pulled over with my yellow car. i mean im driving so fast you would thought you passed a sunbeam anyway lol

 

White is the best...hands down but....

I would go with Victory Red. Sexy w/ the Red and black

 

I think Red/Black is one of the most over used color combo's ever. I have an all black and it is a pain in the ass to keep clean. Other then that, when it is clean, it looks really nice. It's just keeping it that way haha. Black shows everything.

 

Black sucks if you like having a clean car. I had a black cobalt for 4 years and ill never get a black vehicle again unless it sits in the garage.

 

I like black, looks the best when it is clean, and when it's not, who gives a ****...it's a cobalt lol

Makes me want yellow. To bad no white for 07 or 06 or i would get one Can't afford one as a first car.

 

i think black looks best when its dirty and dark.... dirt hides all the scratches that black shows. also, like someone else said go with the 07, better stereo and steering wheel.

 

I know i've done tons of research. I need one on Jan 13. Lol. Just needs the right amount of miles and mods. So i can't be to picky.

ugh now i like silver even though i find it sort of boring.

Like someone else said, black looks really nice when it's clean.

 

Here's what you should do: if you like the idea of having any of those colours, pick the one that's in the best condition.

 

Eliminate black. Leaning yellow.
