which car???
hey guys. well my current ss/sc is a lemon. i finally turn it in thursday at 8am. my question is they have a 2000 z28 for sale. do you think i should get the z28 or get a new ss/sc. i mean i love the ss/sc but the z28 with low miles and not that bad of a price also sounds good. please help me decide guys. also i know this is a cobalt forum but are z28's easy to mod??? oh yeah heres the link to the z28. thanks mike

I would get another Cobalt, the gas mileage is better, the insurance is bound to be cheaper. The Z28s are good cars to mod though, if you want to pay up the ass for gas and stuff.

It depends on what you want. If it's a play car I'd consider the z28.
If you need a daily commuter I'd get a new Coby - with a full warranty.
Remember, if you're spending $30 a week in gas on your Coby it would cost you $50 a week with the z28.

It would be reliable with those mods, it would also be faster than the cobalt with those mods, but you are going to be sucking down gas way faster than the 17 mpg sticker.

You need to ask yourself a few questions. First, how much did/do you enjoy the Cobalt SS/SC?
Second, do you feel like you've fully experienced the car? If you have, I would suggest to move on to something different.
Financially, it makes more sense getting the used Z28. Buying another new car you'll theoretically lose (Can't remember the %) just driving it off the lot. Buying that Z28 - it's probably fully depreciated.

If you got another SS/SC and put some of that money that your getting back into it you will have a preety mean lilttle ride and still get better gas mileage than the Z28. Dont get me wrong i've always wanted a camaro but for a daily driver its gonna hit you preety good. Either way your still getting a sweet ride.
