car damaged :(
Well today..
Started out nice. Slept in, got some good sleep. Going to Appleton for our high school basketball game at 2, then to the mall afterwards and somewhere to eat. Well i go fill my car up. Come home, sit on the computer, shower. Let the car warm up for a bit, then leave. Well going down main street. Hit green lights the whole way down the road. Roll the window down a crack because its fucken warm in the car. About to go threw the last light before i turn for the GF..yellow..car in front of me stops and they are turning.
Well ok..give myself plenty of distance behind him so i can go around him and i got a SUV behind me doing the same. Green..i go with the SUV right behind me.
Well i pull back into the actual roadway. Put my blinker on to turn into her driveway..start going.
CRUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUNCH. WHAT THE ****! In all the time between me stopping, i gave her probably the most "im pissed off look" ever and shook my head. I roll to a stop, throw my car in reverse..rev up to 3K and basically dump the clutch. Open my door.
First thing i hear is "Why isn't your blinker on?"
Me: "Well seeing as i just turned my wheel the COMPLETE opposite direction to pull to the curb would solve that one, seeing as your blinker would turn off when you turn the wheel the other way"
her: yeah ok
me(now getting really pissed): so WHAT the **** were you doing over there in the first place, you are supposed to be getting back over into the roadway, not fucken off roading over there.
her: well you had your blinker on to turn over there.
me: oh did i, why on earth would i go there..when i was going to my girlfriends house which is right the **** here.
bla bla bla
cops comes. He asked what happened. Right away her story changes. I get this big smile on my face, and ask her how many more times she gonna change her story. She just looks at me with the face like shes gonna kill me. Officer asked me waht she said earlier. I said..that i supposedly was pulling into the gas station, but turned the opposite direction..and i told him i was going to my GF house which is right there..(were standing infront of it)
To end it..i get a ticket for failuring to signal..which is a BS ticket because the cop didn't see it and he is taking her word over mine. Im fighting this ****.
Oh, some humor outta this. Her mom was in awe..because im really quiet. She knew i was pissed once i got out of the car. Also her ford explorer, end up ON TOP of a snow bank and now that i look at that its hilarious.
And her boyfriend and her friends, OMG. When i was waiting to be asked questions, they just kept coming and they were looking at me, so i roll down the window and i ask "What the **** is this over there, a fucken gathering. Jesus christ people get some lives"
He attempted to spin the tires infront of me, in his truck. When he got out i just laughed at him.
Pics will come tommorow. All that i see for damage is..nice big scuff/scratch and no more passanger mirror as it dangles there. The thing i am most worried about, is that when my wheel is straight..the car goes to the left.

Yeah i was at the mall today. from like 330ish til like 6. Yeh it was pretty packed...
Its all said and done now, nothing i can do but sit and wait.
I guess i could checked my shoulder...but when do you expect a car to be there of all places..your not supposed to drive there...but not much i can do about it.

Well i wouldn't have went back to the middle, if the side of the road didn't contain snow, ice..water..plus you need to be out there to make it in the driveway, snow mounds on each side can't really go in when your right next to it without hitting the side of the snow with your car

definitely her fault, but that's why you're supposed to look before turning... you say you're not expecting a car to be there, but how about a bicycle or a dog or an asteroid or something?

That is VERY true, sarbae. Funny because i use to bike all the time and would get pissed when cars cut me off.
True it could have been avoided from both vehicles..
She shouldn't have been there just because she saw that i went over to slow down to turn into her driveway.
and i shoulda checked over my shoulder. Hell it coulda been avoided if i woulda left at 1230 like i said i was gonna..but instead i left at 1240.
Its all done and said now, i can't do anything about it.

Driving lessons I've learned....
When you need to swing out to make a right hand turn.......go ONLY as far as you need to to make the turn and compensate by slowing down more. Why? Cause as soon as you give some dipshit enough road that they THINK they can squeeze their car into, they'll try.
When it comes to female drivers, assume they're stupid, putting on makeup, talking on a cell phone, drying their hair AND shaving their legs all at the same time. We're not all bad, trust me, I do pretty good and I know other females who do as well (and those of use who CAN drive well despise the dipshit female drivers as much if not moreso than men do) - BUT- still, the majority of the female population sucks at driving and it's better to assume they suck than have a situation like this. This goes triple for middle aged Asian women. There's a Catholic high school right across from my work. Busses were dropping kids off, red lights flashing three DIFFERENT middle-aged Oriental women have sent Catholic school girls running in terror cause they blast right past the stopped bus. Then last week, there was one trying to park on the street, got caught on some ice, spun the **** out of the tires, when they finally grabbed her car shot over the sidewalk, across a driveway, 10' through a front yard and into a shrub.... WTF?

Believe me, as soon as I realized no body was going to get hurt, I LOL'd when I saw them!!!!!!!!!! You just gotta shake your head and wonder what goes through some people's minds while driving. My upstairs neighbor is the SAME WAY. God help her if there is ANY snow on the ground, she is CLUELESS.

People pass like that ALL the damn time. As I said, if they THINK the space is there, they take it. Cause, you know, like waiting 5 seconds for someone to turn is going to make them HORRIBLY late for wherever they're trying to go.
Which doesn't make sense why she did it in WI
