so last night i went out and came home. on my way in i fliped on the outside lights just because i hade this feeling that it might be a good idea. i get to work the next day (today) and someone come running in about 30 min into my shift and says that my car has eggs all over the trunk and back bumper so i go out and inspect it and sure enough my rear end is covered. the main hit right about my passenger tail lamp on the trunk lid. so i go in and get a bucket i get it all off and notice, that on that main hit there is like straches that look like a circle and spead out (the egg blowing up). so i go to my dealer and they use 2000 grit sand paper and wet sand it and buff the spot for free. and it does nothing. so they want 400 dollars to repaint the trunk lid. i'm so amazingly pissed right now. i guess i was not the only one. i called and made a police report and they said that i was caller number 11 in that area to report and egging. so just some advice, if egged wash it off ASAP!!! the protine in the egg realy eats paint quick. as for the people that did it i can only hope that they saw my ss.net sticker and they get on here and see this. if so, PM for my number and we can meet up somtime, love to meet ya. =)

 

dude just call your insurance company and file a claim for vandalism. i cant tell you how many times my car has been egged/silly stringed and ****. my deductible was 50 dollars and i got a new paint job..

 

thats so f***up i hate when f***kers do that..that just pisses me off as much as you do..thats the worst feeling

 

in fact just like last week i got my car back after being repainted again cuz someone keyed it all along the passenger side...once again , 1000 dollar repair job cost me 50 bucks

 

my deductable is 500 bucks tho.. keeps my insurance payment down =\

 

the circles are the egg shells hitting the car. not the egg subtance itself.

wet sanding does nothing. you have to be really good with a touch up brush, or get it repainted.
