So i've been noticing alot of cobalts due to no or minor or major mods always throw a CEL, personally since i bought my car this year 36k miles on it even till this day it throws a CEL of P0171 funny thing is nothing is leaking, checked everything out all hoses are good i mean everythings good in my engine wierd it's been doing it this long even with mods on it or even stock, any thoughts on the P0171 and the evap control systems fine.

 

Eh, I've thrown a CEL twice in the 4 years I've had it. Cabin air filter and a misfire. New filter, new plugs, and I'm good to go.

 

They are infamous, especially on modded balts.
Not that the mods are bad, it's just the car is picky.
Go into any "For Sale" thread on here even and see a pic for the odometer mileage, and there's a CEL.

Exactly lol every picture i seen even on some deal sites CEL, my p0171 is unexplainable o.o cause i've checked everything~!
