On Chevrolet.com they took away the release date of early 2005 on the SS/SC!

I was just looking on there to see if they changed the avaliable date on the SS/SC from early 2005 to summer 2005 or whatever they eventually will do to us again...and I noticed that they did change the site...it has no avaliable date now...maybe since we are starting the 4th month of 2005 in 10 days...and it wouldnt look right if it still said avaliable early 2005...or maybe it's because they actually did release like 15 or so SS/SC's to the whole country earlyer this month...what do you guys think about it...why do you think Chevy took off that date on their website?

They took it off since early 2005 have already passed. We’re in spring now and according to Banshee there is only 20 in the lot, so a full release is not anytime soon I think Chevy is really dropping the ball on this one. Kind of ironic since their commercials have a ball that has been dropped and is bouncing in them, maybe we should have taken a hint from the commercials. Well if they really want to maintain their fading market share they need to pick up the ball and run with it. The Cobalt was their chance to do this and they just ended up coughing it up again. I have a 7-year bad history with them. This will probably be the last Chevy I buy if it ever comes. I had an IS300 lined up and ready to put a turbo in it, BUT I thought I would give them another try, my stupid decision to think they could possibly correct things. This is really sad since they have good cars, but they can never deliver any quality service in the sales of the cars. My next car will be a Lexus or Mercedes, they at least know how to treat a customer.

yeah the date is still on there. It's just part of the slide for the Cobalt SS. It's in small print in the lower left hand corner. I think it's gone of the Cobalt SS specific webpage.....

Anyhow not much to do but wait. I have a VIN so they really can't do much but give me the car sooner or later

If they can't I will get something else... Life will go on.

Well, they're essentially "out" now.

Some dealerships have them and are selling them, so they no longer have to say "Coming early 2005"

It's here.......
