Chevy Aveo SS

Everyone is complaining that Chevy is placing SS emblems on cars that don't deserve it. Well the cobalt deserves it and thank GOD they didn't make an Aveo SS. Although that little thing would be bangin' with an LS2 in it.

Oi! That thing would have a hood the size of the Vettes out front! It would be as elongated as the Viper! (Not dis'n the Viper, merley pointing out the size of the engine bay compared to the rest of the car.)

First the AVEO is made in Korea and is junk

Plus if it was an SS it would obviously be a TURBO just like the 2008 Cobalt SS wont be.

no. its make in south korea. along with the optra and epica. you yanks didn't get the epica or optra( be thankful) the optra is **** and the epica is a cheap old mans car.

The aveo is **** too. And yes when i was working on one the other day i noticed K on the vin code. And then realized how big of a piece it was. Oh well. GM needed a super small hatch i guess.

And the engines in them are out dated by at least 10 years. Reminds me of a 90's honda civic.

Here's the low down:

GM bought Daewoo (sp?).
"Hmmmm, should we spend money and time to develop a cheap car lineup to compete with the likes of Kia, Daewoo and Hyundai? Nah.....it's easier to just buy one."

Meanwhile....
"Honey, I heard the Daewoo dealership closed! Where the F***K are we supposed to go for service and support now?"

The moral of the story......
Save up for another year until you can afford a Cobalt.
