Choosing between 3 cars....

This is thread #2 of my evaluation on my choices... let me know what you guys think

The options are
Cobalt SS/SC w/CAI, exhaust, lowered, and staged
Cobalt SS/TC w/SRI, lowered, and maybe: exhaust, GMS1, forge bpv
03-04 Mustang Mach 1, with exhaust (this ride could be really BA)
All would have tires for winter, and all would have appearance mods (evo mod, painted rims, decklid.... etc)

There would be no warranty on the stang and if I were to get an SC it would need to be an 07 for the 100,000 mile warranty

I already have a 1992 Z28 in my garage so it makes me think twice about the mach. Tell me what you guys think

The car would be my daily driver btw

The Tc just as fast as the mach 1 with 4 less cylinders and more cash in your wallet.

If I do go TC, anybody know if the dealer will try and void my warranty with a forge BPV?

BOOM! done. Reliable fast and fuel efficient. Get an 09 if possible, 08's have their charge piping pop off, lolz

What are you Hp goals? I think the SS/SC's are one of the best bang for the buck cars out there right now ..... hell you can pick up a nice one for 10K . The whine is addicting .

i would think the TC for the gas mileage, power on tap and it would still be a fun winter driver (fwd ftmfw) and ever so slightly superior to the SC in many ways. you couldn't go wrong with the TC imo.

For a daily...get one of the SS's. Those Mach 1's are bad ass...but definitely fuel hogs.

TC or Mach1. The Mach1 could eventually turn into a toy car and make a crap load of power.

Either will be a good DD, Mach1 with light mods is very reliable, LNF with a good tune is very reliable. Only you can make this choice, either are good options.

Well I haven't driven either a Tc or Mach but I do own an 07 Ss/Sc. It isn't the fastest thing out there by any means but it holds it's ground and you could potentially do turbo swap if/when you really want to make power.

Whatever one you go with might end up making you hang a for sale sign on that 92 Z28.
