S/C. Better gas than the t/c and I'm assuming cheaper. If not get the turbocharged.

TC so you can have one of both! Unless paying out the ass for gas isn't a huge deal to you, then a Mach1 would be pretty freaking sweet.

Better gas mileage on the SS/SC? I don't think so.

Cheaper sure, but not better gas mileage.

Depending on the mods and tune, the SC has been known to get better gas milage

Well with a tune either car could get better mileage. TC will generally get better mileage though due to gearing.

^^ x2

Lately i been getting 34+ mpg on my stock TC going between TX and NM...well mostly stock(KN SRI) and I just got 28+ mpg hauling butt to OK doing around 80.

OP, My opinion is the TC is best for a daily as it is the best of both worlds. If you get a 2009 or 2010 your more than likely to get the warranty with it as well...of course if thats if you care about a warranty

ya the lsj gets better mileage.

I did get 35mpg on the way down to CED meet last year, but lsj's were getting 38.

You would think so but my old SS/SC got 2 MPG better mileage than my SS/TC for some reason. This is going off the D.I.C. so I'm not sure how accurate it is . You would think the 3.82 vs .4.05 gear would make a big difference but it's not the case in my experience with both.

How is the E85 support in Columbus? If Vince doesn't get the 100% E85 in the LNF figured out, I'd go with the SS/SC if you have good E85 support out that way.

It's actually pretty decent, but not great. There's 8 stations I believe here in Columbus. There's a thread with a link that shows all E85 stations, but I can't find it
