Do you know which ones?? I have a noise like that, sounds like drivetrain lash, but every time I look everything is tight. I never checked the bolts on the cradle though.

the cradle is basically a motor mount, you will see it if u look in the fenderwell, the bolts are on the bottom of the cradle..

So My Clicking Wasn Just A Bolt It Is The " Intermediate Steering Shaft". Not A Safety Issue But If You Have That Noise And Warranty Id Take Care Of It. And They Didnt Say A Word About My Traction Bars, They Better Still Be On The Car!

I hope not. I really never heard of an intermediate shaft making noise on the cobalts, or most small cars for that matter. The design is different. The Malibus have been having rack problems, sounds like a bad PS pump, but its the rack itself. They have the exact same system as our cars.

revival....i finally found out how to replicate my unusual issue with braking....my random occurrences where my brakes sound like theyre grinding and wont push in unless i push hard i never have because it feels like id break whatever is grinding....its like a metal plate is touching something thats spinning at several thousand RPMs that has gears....its hard to describe

anyway, i found that if i break while turning hard it will replicate the issue

im almost tempted to leave it tho, because it always keeps me from pressing VERY close to the limits of my traction.....its like my cars own fucked up ABS or something...lol

They need to be lubed, my friends did that, sprayed some white lithium lube and it's all better
