Cobalt assembler at Lordstown

Just thought I'd say hello and mention not only do I build them, I also drive'em. I have a 2006 black Cobalt ss/sc but so far I've only added a magnaflow cat-back and racing pedals. There is a lot more coming. Been at Lordstown 29 yrs. and I can honestly say we build a damn good car and take pride in our workmanship.

so is this the official complaint thread for the horrible build quality of the cobalts? IE: poorly installed pressure plate, blown trannies, bad #4 piston, the infamous "clunking noise", and all of the 986987 squeaks and rattles?

iv driven past the Lordstown plant like 239047345 times on my way south from cleveland area. I like the Cobalt and the Pontiac on the roof...Welcome

I hope you called in sick the day my car was built......... No one wants credit for this thing, not even GM... The last time I had it in for warranty work I think they tried to change the badges because even they were ashamed...

I also got a lemon kind of but I still LOVE....ABSOLUTELY LOVE the car. It's put together really well. And for those haters who say our interior is cheap, THE TWO TONE IS AMAZING. And the dashboard looks awsome, fck the haters
