Cobalt battery....is this normal?

so i noticed that sometimes my steering wheel is ligher and sometimes its heavier (not talking about different speeds, just standing still) and at the same time whenever the steering wheel feels ligher, the headlights are brigher as well. i would say its a pretty noticable difference. so the question is, is my battery sometimes putting out more power and sometimes less? is this normal? are you guys experiencing the same thing?

i notice the headlight difference because i have one of those blue aftermarket one and the color looks greenish when it has less power; it has a nice bluish white when it has more power.

Sounds like your alternator, your battery doesnt make a difference when your car is running

Nope, no alternator problems here, I run a steady 14.5 volts at the trunk

Take it in to the dealer and have them check the alternator

I don't notice my headlights now because im running 35w but I did notice that before. No car's electrical system is going to be flawless.

the lights dim when you turn the wheel is normal i think....thats coz ur steering wheel is drawing more current

but what i meant was the steering wheel being heavy over a long period of time...say until you restart the engine

I've got a train horn in the truck, 150 dB, with it's own compressor and 2.5gallon tank. I love when people cut me off.

Mine has don it a few times to.
I took it to the dealer and they gave me the same line of BS they give me for every thing I take the car in for. "Could not find any problem"

Get hella supertones, looks really mean and aggressive, cost cheap, direct replacements, oh ya and they aren't rice like air horns!!! 3 friends of mind have these on their STI's, and it sure makes people jump when he lays on it. No probs with my alt. here, if I could only find my battery now.hmmmm? lol
