So I've been looking for speakers for the front doors of my Cobalt. I can order them, and I can cut my housings to make them fit...OR.....as I was walking through the junkyard one day I noticed a Saturn Aura. I popped the door panels off and...Voila ! The speakers are the same mounting but....the speakers un-bolt from plastic mounting bracket. Better design and easy to change the speaker if it ever blows again.

any cobalt with a pioneer system from factory has those. in fact a lot gm cars with up level audio systems have them.
