Cobalt Oiling experts...help!
You should be fine to drive it, the oil pump has a screen to prevent any large debris getting into the oil pump, your only concern would be it floating around and getting into the crank. I'd roll the dice.
so, i just found two...bolts i guess? they have no head...and they LOOK like they hold the pan to the block. They screw in to the block itself, and are rounded at the the other side, leaving no head at all to work with....how do I get these out? or do they not hold the pan in place? if they dont, then damn, this sealer is strong as hell...
dude that sealer is amazingly strong, those things you speak of are dowl pins they hold the pan straight and lined up while putting the bolts in...
your gonna need to pry brother, dont worry about messing up surfaces it dosent take a gasket the gasket sealer will seal up anything and everthing even if you put a few pry marks!
and technically you need some more of the gm sealent its special stuff not just some gasket maker from the parts store...

i cant get that **** off...is there a certain spot im supposed to be prying from? or a certain tool? the subframe and other engine components prevent me from prying at most of the seals, and the one spot i could reach through the fender i pried so hard my screw driver actually snapped at the tip
