Cobalt owners !
What is your going rate for insurance on you car especially a ss? I just bought my car and have no idea what the insurance is going to chrage me, They said $74 a month to add it to my moms insurance but from what i read the colbalt coupe is one of the top 10 most expensive cars to insure. I'm 23 and turn 24 this Sat and the insurance on my truck was around 200 a month so what is your guess on a colbalt ss/tc? LOL I guess I acted before I thought on the insurance part.

24 and they will still let you add your car onto you mom's insurance?
There are too many factors to add in, but at 24 on your own policy with no tickets or wrecks you are probably looking at like $300/month -$50/+$100

On a 2 year CLEAN record I pay $250 a month, with no replacement cost and no loss of use protection. Blame Canada, or this province rather. I just transferred the papers/plates from my 2.4, if they try and jack it higher when I reinsure, I'm golng to prison.

I too would recommend you call around for sure. Some places insure with many different companies so it can be as easy as one phone call.
My insurance recently went down a lot after turning 25. in fact i saw this coming so I called around for the best rate and now im paying 350 every 6 months with progressive.

lol, I'll go in on Sat and talk with a manager at the agency. Everyone I've talked to with marks on their records is paying <$150 a month. We're regulated by ICBC up here, but something's not right. My neighbor had an 06(I think) Eclipse write-off, now he insures an 07 Lancer GTS for $160 a month

Oh and it helps alot if you have your tickets in a different state other than your licensed state, because it doesn't show up on the dmv record.

Yeah I have been on my moms insurance since I was 16 and have no plans for getting off of it anytime soon. What can I say momma loves me lol, anyway I was thinking it would be around 100 a month but we will see when we get that first bill in the mail I hope its not going to kill me. I have nothing on my driver history I had a wreck but it was taken off after 5 years which was last year.
