I really like the pic above but the lug nuts are too much yellow IMO. Dare I say it makes it look a bit ricer to me. I think it makes it look like you're trying too hard going that far.

I know what your saying but thats also a photoshop and not the real thing. It might look better with black nuts (no pun intended) but overall im happy with the look. I can paint lug nuts myself but im nervous about the whole rim in general lol

09 Turbo. I say go all black

I'm not really a fan of all black...looks too bland. Even glossed. At least do a polished lip or something. You have a beautiful car, why not give it just it a lil umph?

I'd go with option 3-modded. Black spokes as well as insides of spokes, with just the lip polished...I think that would be nice.

Those two-tone yellow rims do look sick tho. However, it is just a liiiiil bit flashy for me...I feel the K.I.S.S. approach is best for appearance mods...as soon as you go a little flashy people will call you rice, even if it's a job well done. And lord knows we don't need another thread about what is rice or not...

If your going to DIY, why not start with one of the harder options, that would be easy to modify later? (ex: the modded-option 3 like I suggested)?

The hard part will be masking the lip where it meets the spoke tips - to get it right that is. But then, if you sill don't like the result, paint it all black! The hard part is already done! Spray away man.

But that's just my opinion...

# 2 by far looks the best IMO just make sure the insides are gloss. They look a little flat black sort of in that pic. I have the exact opposite on my stock SS/SC rims

If I provide a pic of my white TC...will someone do the same photoshop to MY rims? Maybe he is caught up on the color not looking right. Might help him if he sees another color car done with the same options. I know certain cars look good with certain paint schemes and another colr car sometimes looks either a lot better or worse. I'll go find a good pic. post #22 has a good color options for him too. Lets see how it looks on mine:

Just dont do it like this guy did at a meet back in Wa: LOL

I guess different ways of black and white to match the car. Thanks....who knows maybe I'll like it and end up doing it myself Nah-I'm kinda set on buying some new rims but there are so few that are confirmed to fit over the TC Brembos Have not found any that I like yet.

all black DOES look clean BUT it's PLAYED OUT. It's been the big thing for the last 3-4 years a I feel it was too much too fast. So..MY has some black rims with a 2" chrome lip and that was a mistake...also played out. The only reason I don't have rims on my TC already is there are not much that will fit the Brembos that I like yet. SO FRUSTRATING!

I don't give a damn how overplayed black is. I'm doing it. If you want to be really creative, do purple. lol.
