cobalts & school parking lots

Hrm Cobalts are common as hell in Chicago in all forms, today in the 2 mile trip it took me to go to steak and shake, I saw 1 Yellow 2.2 with tinted headlights and black panted lt rims, 3 black 2.4 ss, 1 victory red ss/sc and a dark blue z24 with my exact same stripes on it /shake fist.
Too the guy with the Yellow balt yeah I totally caught you checking out my black ss/na with the silver stripes.
Adressing whether or not the cobalt is a chicks car: Yes It shure is But so are convertable mustangs and cameros and ide drive one of them too. Sadly though were much closer to the cavalier and the escourt end of the spectrum.

Rofl at people bitching about Cobalts being common cars, try driving a Cavalier. As for Balts around here, there's three at my high school... a girl with a Blue LS, another girl with a red LS, and a girl with a black LT. A kid at the high school across the street has a nice looking black Pursuit with the high wing and keeps it clean all the time, haven't seen who drives it. When I pull in to park at my, it would be UNcommon to not squeeze between two Cavaliers or Sunfires. It seems at least every third vehicle is a j-body. At least I'm only one of a few Z24 Cavs, except when I got my car I didn't even have the front or back lip, just the skirts.
I also drive by the college frequently and have only seen a few Balts. I always see this red Pursuit GT though... looks lowered.

The point is, you were handed a 25000 dollar car for getting good grades. That, by definition, is spoiled. I'm not insulting, it's just fact. I'm not saying you're a piece of **** for it or anything. Enjoy it, take care of it, but realize that you're a lot luckier than most your age.

I was the very first at my school to have a cobalt ss/sc. Then about half way through the year all of the sophmores who now have their license have a base model. kinda bothers me....

See, this just goes to show you how spoiled the average high schooler is these days. ALMOST NO ONE I went to highschool with had a car newer than 10 years old. Hell, the majority of the teachers didn't either.
Be glad you parents are so nice to you. It was only ten years ago I was driving an '88 Tempo and that was one of the nicest cars in the lot.

You can soon add SS/TC sedan to the list. The vast majority of Cobalts are either LS or LT... offering sedan versions of the up models only opens up the market. I don't think there are too many versions.

So what his parents bought him a 20k car? Thats really not ****, at my high school most kids drove bimmers and mercedes. This cheerleader chick had a new car almost every six months, her pops was the owner of a ton of dealerships down here in vegas. I remember when she took her range rover off-road and fucked it all up. I had a really clean 95 v6 camaro I picked up for 3,800 bucks. I paid for most but my rents did help a bit.
