If someone had to go with Rally Yellow would you? We only have a yellow that has all the options I want. the others are victory red but have all kinds of stuff I dont want. I still have to sell my show truck so I dont wanna order one then sell the truck and be without a car for however long its gonna take.

i almost had to settle for yellow but was lucky enough to find one of the last 1sb coupes in 5 surrounding states. I had to drive 3 hours to pick it up but i got a silver one. point of the story is....you will find the one u want. Do not settle just to get a new car. You are going to have to live with the car for a couple years so make sure u love it.

If you like the Yellow at least a little, I'd say go for it. Its one of those colors that really grows on you after getting used to it.

My cousin has a Mustang GT in Screamin' Yellow, and when I first saw it I was like "ehh its okay" - but after riding around in it for a week and really checking it out, It started to really grow on me. Its one of those colors that looks much better in person than it does in pictures.

I'd say just consider whether you think you can get used to Yellow, and decide from there

Ern...

I have a Rally Yellow Cobalt SS/SC with the Ebony/Yellow interior. I'm very happy with my color choice, came down to Rally Yellow, Sunburst Orange and Arrival Blue. The Rally Yellow might not look real appealing at first, but it will grow on you. I was never a fan of Yellow cars before I ordered my Cobalt SS/SC and now a drive around a Yellow car.

First off, Rally Yellow isn't a "nasty color." Second, carbon fiber hoods are gay. Who wants a (fill in color name here) colored car only to have the hood look black? Looks hideous!

yellow rocks. Although the Cobalts rally yellow is not as nice a shade as sunstorm yellow (1974 Pontiac) is still pretty good---not taxi cab yellow like S-10s and Cavaliers were painted.

Far as silver is concerned.....its such a damn popular colour and I always like to go against the current anyhow.

Color is such a personal opinion on a car, so the only advice I can give is to not listen to anyone else but yourself. Do YOU like the yellow, or do you have your heart set on a different color?

I know I had the opportunity to get a Sunburst Orange SS/SC almost 2months ahead of any other color of SS back in March, but I decided it wasn't for ME and waited for Black. I'm glad I waited, although some would have done the opposite and waited for Sunburst Orange over Black.

Go with your gut, you're going to have this car for years! Whatever color you decide on you'll love it!!

Yellow is not a bad looking color. I had to search around I originally wanted a Sunbusrt Orange but settled for a black on black SS. If you can get used to yellow it is not bad looking i mean after all at least you will have the color inserts that i dont have.

My Cobalt test drive was in a yellow coupe. It certainly sticks out, that's for sure. It's not a colour I would personally pick but if you like it, more power to you. When ordering my car, I wanted Arrival Blue but the dealer said he could get one in red a lot sooner (one week versus two months). I stuck to my guns though and held out. I'm going to be looking at this thing for 5+ years so I'm glad I got exactly what I wanted.

My advice is look at it and think what color you want then buy the yellow one and paint the bitch what color you want. If you wanted the arival blue then ask for the color chart for it. But n e ways color is not the end of the world it can be changed for cheap most likey changing the color will be cheaper then adding the other options to the color car you want.

In fact here is my cobalt lined up with a yellow. Its not so bad yellow is a good color if you want to stand out. BTW sorry for the picture format it was dark and it was takin with my cam phone
