Colour / Interior

I ordered my 06 SS/SC and I went with the black exterior and the red/black leather interior. Do you guys think this is going to look ok, or will it look like crap? Ive spent many sleepless nights deciding on what to do and I decided on this. Just want some feedback to put my mind at ease. Any input would be much appreciated.

Thanks,

Ouchburns

You're going to love it. That's how I had mine specked out before I switched to the 2.4 SS. Yeah black show's dirt but so do all dark colors. Just take good care of her and get used to frequent baths and you'll be all good.

Congrats on the new ride.

Thanks for the input so far. Im not really worried about the maitenance because I actually enjoy cleaning my cars and I have owned a black car before. Iam just more worried about the black exterior looking good with the red/black interior.

So my dealer just called me up and gave me pricing on the G85 package. He said that I could still add it if I would like too. The Price in Canadian dollars that he gave me was $2037. IMO the Recaros are ugly but I have not seen very good pictures of them. I really would like to have the LSD without the Recaros but this is not an option. So now wtf do I do?!?!?

GO WITH THE RECAROS AND LSD?

OR

GO WITH THE SEXY RED LEATHER & SAVE $2037?

The red looks pretty good I think. I went with Black/Black cause I wanted a more classy look but I seen a red interior one and it looked a lot better then I ever thought it would. Pictures don't do it justice. Gotta sit in it.

I wouldn't go with the G85. I agree, the recaro's don't turn my crank either. The LSD would be cool but for 2K GM can keep it in my mind. It isn't worth it to me and it's snowy and icy 6 months out of the year here.

If you are cool with the daily washing of the outside, the Red is going to look sweet. You made a great choice, sleep while you can, because when you pick her up you will want to drive all night instead of sleeping.

I ordered the exact combo you speak of but it ended up getting messed up and I got black/black. I was pretty pissed at first, but I've gotta say, looking back I'm REALLY glad they screwed up.

I traded the car you have ordered for black with G85. Get the Recaro's - they look sweet with their silver inserts. Especially if you're thin - the normal seats will let you move all over the place in turns, the Recaro's hold you tight.

Agreed. I don't care if you don't like the looks of them. Get them anyway. They are hands down the most comfortable seats in any sub 25K car. They certainly keep you in place as well.

All the time you spend in your car is spent in the seat, so why would you purposely buy less supportive, less comfortable seats if you have another option availabel to you?

Hrmmm, should I go red then with the G85?? or black with the G85?? and can anyone post a link where I can get a really good look at the Recaros because so far I think that they are really ugly from the pics that I have seen. That is the main reason that I had chosen to go without the G85.

congrats. I have an orange ss/sc and I love the color. It's awesome. Then again, I go to oklahoma State university and our colors are orange and black, so maybe I'm biased.

However, there is nothing that looks nicer than a hot car that is clean and freshly washed and waxed. A clean, shiny black SS that you can see yourself in the paint will surely be a head turner wherever you are. Congrats on your ride, I'm sure you will love it once you get it.
