We arent winning them over with our amazing build quality on these "American Revolution" cars. Doesnt look like the the cobalt will be joining the good bets list anytime soon.

^For what its worth I owned a "bad bets" vehicle (2003 Chevy Trailblazer) until it had 100,400 miles on it. The only thing that messed up on it was the ignition switch which cost less than 50 bucks. I think CR is full of ****...

I know people with many of the 'bad bets' and they have well over 150,000 miles on them with no issues.
I don't even need to say it... But I will... Consumer Reports has to be paid off.

Not so much paid of as presenting data thier primary target audience wants to hear.
Yea...a Mazda Dealership who are morons...they treated me like nothing...called me up the other day and I told him I was looking into the Chevy Cobalt. Hes like oh did you read the current Consumer Report? He told me the Cobalts are one of the worst econo cars out there...I paused for like 4 seconds...I just said eh...and hung up...
I dont believe em...those "PROS" dont know ****.....if your a pro they should stick with certain select of cars...not everyone on the market...

lol Now you guys know how the J-bodies felt, we never got love from the magazines.
I guess they see you guys are our predicesors and don't expect much.
I think the SS/SC is a very nice car and at a great value as well. I guess they are too SRT-4'd out to realize it. Oh well.

Okay I don't think this has been posted but there is a common known reason why higher priced cars are higher on the list.
When giving a review a person is likely to look more favorably on a car they payed more money for because they don't want to admit that they payed more money than they needed to. Thus said, people who buy imports (usually) will report their cars better than actuality because they don't want to admit to themselves that they payed to much, or that they made a bad decision. Vs. people who buy cheaper cars will report everything and justify it as being cheap.
