Coolant level fluctuations

Kinda a dumb question but the coolant level does not fluctuate when the car is hot or cold. Could that be an ic pump issue? Or am I just not smart.

Ps i dont know a whole lot about these cars

The IC coolant is completly separate from the engine coolant. To be honest, I never really checked the coolant level when the engine was hot. I only bother if it's cold, or it says "Low Coolant"
