cost to reflash ecu to stage 2

How much does it cost to reflash to a stage 2 at a chevy dealer without having a code or anything, meaning u bought a used kit. Can this be done or do u have to have a new kit with a code? If this cant be done how much did you spend on an hp tuner?

u need the code bud

otherwise if your looking for the "cheapest" route. Find someone that has hptuners to download the stock s2 tune and upload it to yours for 100.00

Keep in mind a custom tune > s2 **** tune.

The tuner may charge whatever amount over 100.00 to flash your ECU

Depends on the guy. If he's got a year license for the year of your car he might do it for gas money if he's a nice guy, but if he needs to use credits probably around 100 bucks. There should be a ton of people in NJ with hp tuners just find one or buy the hp tuners hardware/software yourself and download a canned tune.

Chevy dealer could be a variety of prices. I don't think a dealer would be willing to do a reflash of a used kit. You should ask the dealer. Should be around 100 bucks as well.
