Had a run in with a wall couple days ago. Was looking down too long at my Ipod on the freeway and brushed up against the side wall. Couldnt believe I did it, but **** happens I guess.

Car wouldnt move after I had pulled it over, the front wheel looked really slanted. Suprisingly there is no body damage, just a little scuff on the front fender. gotta replace both driver side wheels too.

 

damn that sucks ....im always thinking of that when i look down to get something ......... it sucks ...best of luck though

Well now hopefully he has learned from his mistake. We dont need to bash him. Just tell him that he was wrong and he will be on his way. As long as a lesson was learned and nobody was hurt.

I'm really glad you brought this up, because it makes me chuckle every time I hear someone say this. If your talking on the phone, hands free or not, your eyes on are on the road. Granted the major distraction is the conversation. If its a bad conversation you'll usually become distracted but with some will power you could easily focus.

Now lets say your using your uber sweet iPod which you over paid for. You got on preppy clothes trying to impress the girls in your uber sweet Cobalt. But wait, you can't pick up chicks listening to Ludacris - Hoe. So you quickly grab your iPod and got to find that song that will get the ladies to look, something new and exciting. You know what to pick, Soulja boy. So look down to grab your iPod and you start searching through your list of 20,000 songs. Man this could take a few minutes because you stole all of your music off the internet and its labeled track something or other, just like half the songs on your iPod. So you start picking and choosing random tracks realizing you can't find it. All the while your driving on the wrong side of the road nearly missing cars. Before you know it theres a corner and your still looking for Soulja boy. Bam you crash your ultra sweet car. You get out to survey the damage to find a few nice looking girls laughing at you. Then just to make it worse, you realize you haven't even put Soulja boy on your iPod yet.

You tell me whats worse, a phone call or finding a song on your iPod.
