Question Custom Gauge Mod Question

Hello.
I saw a Clack Cat Custom Ad and sent them a message. But I wanted to know what you guys think about a custom mod I thought up.

Personaly, I dont care about having 1/2 a tank of gas, or 3/4 or 7/8s a tank of gas.
I would rather have my gas gauge read out in gallons. IE: Have the 1/2 3/4 5/8 marks relined to show 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9 10 11 12 13 gallons, well 13 would be F and 0 would be E. Anyone ever hear of anyone doing that?
If its too small, I could live with 1 3 5 7 9 11 with 13 being F
I sent a email to Black Cat asking if they can do one and how much it would cost.

So has anyone ever heard of anyone having that done? Is there other custom places that could/would do that?

that would be interesting. You wouldn't even need a whole gauge tho, maybe just a layover. I think on empty i average about a 12 gallon tank, so at the halfway mark you would just put a "6", and so on.

Well the manual says its a 13 gallon tank.
And unless you have your car towed to the gas station you'll never put in 13 gallons because youll always have some left But ya, a layover would be perfect. Thats what black cat was showing on their web site, they had some cool layovers is what it looked like to me. One with flames on the RPM and MPH gauges.
