Exclamation Custom Short Ram Intake Installed

ok i haven't posted on here in a while so welcome me back (ha ha) back in feburary me and my friend built a intake fer my 05 sedan the pipe is from a mazdaspeed protege... its authentic injen piping... ok there it is leave me some feedback!!!

i would suggest building a heat sheild..one major concern with a SRI type intake is the amount of engine heat you can abosrb...since you seem so kein (SP) on custom fabrication, i am sure u can make one

Oh i don't know about APC...but I work for Checker Auto Parts and we got a new display for K&N drop in filters that basically lets you swap in any filter that fits (K&N and FRAM) to show the airflow by how much air pushes a ball in the air. Well me and a buddy made an adaptor from cardboard to fit cone filters. We tested Spectre, K&N, INJEN, AIRAID, and Power Adder. Spectre and Power Adder are worthless. Might as well have a fram. Injen wasn'y AS good but close enough to where it shouldn't be noticeable. K&N and Airaid tied for #1. We wanna test AEM but can't find anyone with one. But my guess would be since you paid $25 your filter is in the ranks of spectre...
