dang cops

well ive had the balt for about a year now and of course its high performance so what does that mean.. i want to go fast haha. If i wanted to go slow i would have bought an ls j/k but anyways i have never gotten a ticket before but last night was my first doin 65-45 kinda got shafted on the highway speed change but oh well ill take it the cop got lucky.. the second one was less than 16 hours later when i leave mcdonalds and .. thats right u guessed it floored it .. i hit supposedly 68-45 this time. cop tried to threaten me and say he was taking me to jail and what not i just wanted him to write my ticket so i could eat my food. Just thought I'd see if anyone had gotten 2 tickets sooner than I had.

I got pulled over the other night because of no front plate..

have to have a front plate in illinois...

i also have 20% tint ALL AROUND... he didnt nab me for that.. weird...

Anyways... i told him i just bought the car, and the dealership did not have the brackets in stock for the plates (true story) so he told me i should probably get them on.... and asked..

"Whats the horsepower rating on these?"

i said "well, GM rates them at 205, but it is more near 230-240 at the crank, they did that for insurance purposes"

he said "Not bad for a small car"

real nice guy... still rolling with my no front plate (our cars look too good for a front plate) and tint

i wouldnt say the ss s/c are "high performance". More like a sports car. High performance in my eyes is like an laborghini, ferreri, etc etc.

well let me start off by saying there is a difference between driving fast and driving like an idiot. cant understnd how you got shafted or the cop got lucky. you were speeding man, and he was doing his job. lol. then you leave a mcdonalds and tear ass doing 68 in a 45, and act like some cop was making empty threats that were underserved. 20 mph over the limit in most states is concidered wreckless driving and you can be arrested for it. getting tickets is not something to brag about, its less money you have to spend on your balt. sounds to me like you got what you deserved and you drive stupid.

no my kind sir those are called wastes of money. the most i would spend would be 70k on a c6 z06 other then that nope

and what happends when a said sports car like a srt-4 or ss/sc exceeds the performance of a lambo or ferrari

is it still a sports car

i mean do i speed, yes, do i go as fast as you did in those zones. sometimes, do i act like a tough guy because i drive fast, nope. stuff like that is the reason cops watch cars like ours and will give you a ticket for having a loud pipe. if people didnt drive like toolboxes the fuzz would cut us more slack. your just giving us a bad name, its not making you cool

I DID, I DID!!!! i got one ticket at 11:10 pm on march 17.(which was for 84 in a 65 and also a fix it for my exhaust being tooo loud) then on march 18 at 12:05 am i got another ticket for my exhaust. DAMN COPS!!! (and just to think... IM BECOMING ONE OF THEM!!! HAHAHA)
oh yeah on my first ticket the chp also gave me a verbal warning for mutiple lane changes and multiple tailgating.
