Dashlogic DIC Display Controller

PPE Online Store

Claims you can edit what your DIC shows.

Who has one of these?

I doubt I will.

I have a RPD, Boost gauge, and HP Tuners.

That's interesting but interceptors are nicer for about the same money, but I guess if you want to keep a stock look it would work

That's not too bad. I would like to see a vid of one being used because I probably won't drop that much for it

I sent them an email about the lack of proof. Who knows, maybe they will send me one to review, take pics, and make videos of.

Sounds like it even controlls the dual mode exhaust on the vette. (Already stuff out there for that but this would be an interesting alternative.

I saw those, but the newer models have much more to them and are more easily edited since they communicate more with the PCM for readings. Hell, HPT can edit DIC displays on some cars. Not ours tho.

I got an email back from them.

They linked me to a bunch of videos of them working on the Cruze, Corvettes, new Camaros, etc. They said they have no videos or pictures of it on a delta car. I was given a programming manual that covered general stuff; I was not given a list of parameters it can display.

I answered them back and let them know that I wanted to see it working on a Cobalt since this topic has been brought up in the past and other companies said it could not be done. We will see. I wouldn't spend $300 on something that is not proven and that was my biggest point. If they answer me back I am going to inquire about getting a unit to test, review, and give public feedback on. If not, oh well. It is too expensive to take a chance on and have it do nothing for us or just display things that are not useful to us.

id rather have both parameters displayed on the interceptor gauge rather than on my dash and radio screen anyway.

Supposedly you can display more than 1 parameter and have it auto-cycle like the Aeroforce.

It's definitely an Intresting idea and would be great if you were just wanting to keep a low profile. I think some of the truck videos would be the best exAmple of it working on a delta since it's a similar DIC.

I too would much rather have dual interceptors.

IDK. There are tons of questions like that; those are what I was trying to answer. Their site is lacking serious info.

They answered me back.

I offered to do an in depth review like I have done (and am currently doing) for other parts. If they want me to do it, that would be awesome. If not, oh well. I am not dropping $300 on something other companies said could not be down with the set up of the delta PCM/BCMs.

Hopefully they take me up on my offer.

I have an RPD.
I would prefer certain parameters in my dash honestly. I dont want more gauges. My LSJ was gauge central and it got annoying/looked cluttered.

Dashlogic DIC Display Controller

It would be nice to get a battery voltage readout in the DIC. Also, I'd like the option to display currently playing song title.
