Deals on 06/Cobalt SS/SC's ??

Just wondering if any of you got a deal when you bought your SS/SC. I live in Alberta, Canada and talked to 6 different dealerships, but none of them would budge on the price. I am buying one on Thursday and am just wondering if this was the same scenario for the rest of you? Also, I am still deciding on purchasing or leasing. The dealers all seem to push for the leasing, but not too sure yet? Need to decide within the next couple of days. Thanks for your help!

Go to one of the chev dealers that isnt budging on the price, and say.. Dealer A is going to throw in X options for free, but you guys are more convenient for me, can you beat that deal, if not thanks for your time, but I'm going to dealer A?

Also, if you get an extended warranty, say you'll take it, but for only $600 firm... thats $100 over the dealers cost on them... well here in Halifax anyway.

edit: I can't be 100% certain now how much I got my warrenty for, it was either $600 or $700.. either way, I only paid $100 over their cost.

I know some dealerships in Ontario are offering a 1% less reduction in price to beat the cut of the GST ( Goods and services Tax for the people south of the 49th)

Its better money in your pocket than theirs.

Do not lease. It's a really bad deal for you.
