Debadged

I can't believe the Chevy bowtie on the back wasn't bolted on. I couldn't believe how much **** they used to put that thing on. I went through almost a half a bottle of goo gone on that thing alone. i think i need to get the key cylinder on the back painted black also. oh well, next weekend, she's gettin a wash a wax and some good pic somewhere. here's the back for now..

I took my rear badges and wing off on week 2 of ownership
very stealthy... some people don't know what it is
I left the side badges on for those who can actually get along side me long enough to realize what they were messin' with

Took nearly all the stuff off. Front bolted on

Best way to take off is heat gun and pry off carefully. Just left SS on the back and SS supercharged on the side. Because there is so few of these I get the looky loos all the time especially when I blow them away. And then I get the what the hell it is a old guy driving. 59 yrs old. should see my motorcycle I did put a sticker on the back that says stage 2 250 hp just so the honda wana bees etc leave me alone. I should have put you are not worthy

My husband used fishing line and went behind all the badging of our 07 Cobalt - the clean-up was minimal and he had everything off within an hour!

I would guess heating the area would only help the adhesive removal. I'm sorry you had to do this the hard way but maybe we can make life a little easier for other people...

I like how you actually said debadged and not "shaved." You don't know how much that drives me up the wall. "I shaved my badges today..." No you didnt you took the tape off of them there was no shaving. Anyway enough of my ranting, I like the clean look, myself I dont like the bowtie at all being on that trunk lid.
