Hey I am the proud owner of a brand new Cobalt SS/SC black sunrooof G85 with recaros and LSD. Sooo happy with the purchase, but i was told 6-8 weeks for delivery, from waht i have heard on here it will be much longer. what were you guys told when you bought yours in late march-early april??

 

You actually HAVE the car or just ordered it? I ordered in February and ETA is 4-17-05. Status is "in transit" for the SS/SC.

 

I ordered my Arrival Blue with all black seats, sunroof, and side airbags on 3 March. I was told eight weeks so I'm figuring if all goes well, the first week in May... But you know this vehicle was orignally slated to be released LAST OCTOBER!! There's a thread here that makes perfect sense; about building a lot of SS's and then have them delivered to the dealers...

 

Did you order an SS/SC w/Recaro (plain black seats)?

 

Recaros only come with the black on black interior. Congrats on the new car.

 

It is a factory order and I got the recaros even tho I havent sat in them yet, but definatly wanted the LSD so I went with it. But compared to others waiting for their cars I thought this was a short period. Should I expect many delays from the start or expect to see my car in 8 week. I will be hopeful but was wondering what you guys thought since some of you have more experiance. this is my first new car purchase

 

i'm almost at 8 weeks now since i ordered my car, and i just got pushed into the preferenced for production code, i don't expect mine till at least end of may

good luck with the purchase...but nothing against recaros but,i like the blue inserts in my Cobalt, they blend very nicely with the car and i just like them

 

just wanted the LSD so i settles for the recaros... when did u order zinner? were u a pre order i dont remember offhand... no matter whut i have driven one before and know i will LOVE it as soon as i get it and the wait will be worth it... im just antsy waiting like all u were while u had 2 wait

 

Pre ordered Sept 2004. Picked it up like 3/28

 

Even though orders were made last year, wasn't it that "actual production" of the SS/SC just started in early March?

 

I'm feeling you....Ordered Oct '04 and scheduled buile week April 18.....means I will not have it till mid May

 

I ordered my LS coupe (arrival blue) 25 january, checked status today it says it was on rail on it's way to Maryland. Then it will leave the port there next thursday for Germany and that's another 21 days on a ship. Once it gets to Germany it will take another week or two to get here (Italy). Atleast I know it's on the way
