Depressing

anyone else get kinda depressed by putting alot of miles on their car. Iv had mine sine the 17th of may and I have 3800 miles on her. just kinda sucks when your spending that much money but oh well thats what you get for driving 50 miles 1 way to work.

I'm at about 18 000 km's after about five months of driving, mostly because it's a 75 km drive one way to work and I'm always driving in to the city for the day which is about 200km one way. That's why I bought a second car for the drive to work. Gotta keep the miles low

thats why you gotta have a daily beater. my first car was a 1988 pontiac 6000 and we kept it cuz my brother has a firebird and he likes to use the 6000 in the winter and stuff. so its nice to have like when i go in Philly and stuff. you should look into something like that. got it for 900$ off of an old lady who kept it really nice.

I just traded in my 97 Cav Z24 with 50,900 miles on it. Not bad for almost 10 year old car. Hoping to be able to do the same to the new SS.

Just take good care of it and you will love it even more as you roll 100,000 miles and the thing is perfect. Do you maintenance on time and wax it as often as you can. Don’t wax over grime, but take the time to property clean it and use only the best waxes on the market.

Oh and don’t forget your leather! Condition that thing at least once a month! Soap and water is not the best way to clean it.

I have had mine for a few days and have 64 miles on it. I have enjoyed all of them but unfortunately I haven't had a lot of time to go driving yet. That's the only thing I am depressed about.

You know, I've wondered about that too, considering we only put on an average of 7-8k a year in our old car, and since we bought it in Feb, we already have 4k on it, but we don't do anymore driving.

Ive been feeling the same thing.
Apparenlty I just like driving my cobalt a whole lot more than my old sunfire. lol
My lease allows me up to 24k a year, which works out to 2k a month.
Ive had the car for like a month and a half, and Im up to 5.2k. lol
Summer is bad for putting kms on though. Lots of road trips and things of that nature.

The only thing that depresses me is the cost of premium fuel, and the rate at which my car guzzles it. lol

I picked mine up March 31 and there are currently 1054 miles on it.

It took all my willpower not to drive it hard during the first 500 miles. 6 weeks of willpower at the rate I put kms on.
