I just got this message today..i think it comes up everytime the temperature is at the freezing point..pretty impressive for an entry level car..

 

I think it actually detects the conditions, and the other mornig I was out and didn't get it but I got it today and it was slightly warmer

 

Yeah, I think it goes more by the actual conditions than just temperature. Cause sometimes it is as low as 20 but it doesnt say it.

 

At 20, there is very little risk of new Ice on the Road...

It's more to give a heads up to the driver of when water would become Ice. Like when it's warm and still snowing. The snow melts on the road cause it's black and being driven on, but OH ****! -5 Deg and it's a Car Frenzy...

 

i noticed it too and thought it was pretty cool.

 

as soon as it hits 35 or 36 it says this. The dealer told me it has alot of messages, but thats the only one I've seen so far.

 

mine came on when it was about 30 outside, and the weather was sunny.

 

If you do doughnuts in the sedan is tells you reduced traction and flashes "hazard"

 

i noticed that this morning and in phoenix of all places but aparently it was 30~ this morning so holy **** ... wonder if it will snow ... also I noticed that the low coolant message came on 2 times this past week ... but only when it was uber cold in the morning and never during the day when I leave work to go home ... I looked at the coolant level and from what i could tell it was ok but may need to be topped off anyway ... anyone else see this message?

 

I get Ice Possible about once a day, Go Canada! Also, it seems the colder it gets the more often my emergency brake light pops on and off. I think the programming on this car has some bugs.

yeah.. it's off of temperatures rather than conditions. It's like an Al Roker in computer-form rather than fat-form.

 

Just Thursday I hit a patch of black ice here in Georgia and skidded without thinking to put my foot on the clutch. Car stalled, I pulled over and restarted the car. First thing on the DIC...."ICE POSSIBLE"

I couldn't help but to laugh at it.

 

Phew, glad Im not the only one who got the message. I thought my car was talkin to me for a second there. Either that or I was losing my mind
