Did something dumb yesterday

Yesterday, I changed my oil (was at 34% or so, but wanted to change it before winter)
Anyways, I start driving it to go see a friend of mine when I turn off my road and start to accelerate...
Ding
Ding
Ding
Reduced Engine Power
and my MIL is on. (Maitenance Indication Lamp)
At first I think oh **** wtf
then I think Oh Im a retard...
So I turn down the next street and coast my car to a stop.
I pull up the codes on my interceptor, then I delete them.
Then I open my hood, and reconnect that sensor that
you have to disconect to remove the oil filter cap.
Then I s tart my car up and im on my way

I havent had to unplug anything to do my filter cap. It takes a little longer but not too bad. Just a long extension and the filter socket.
