Just my 2 cents, but you know if you paint a car you kinda ruin its trade-in value? Even carfax says what the color is supposed to be... may not matter to you, but.

 

Yeah, I've thought of this, but I've planned on keeping my SS/SC for a VERY long time.

 

Then go for it - and go for white. I think the car looks sick in white.

Go yellow, silver is not that rare from what I have seen.

 

I think it's ss/sc too, but I'm not sure. That front looks like an 2.4 bumper modded to accept RK Sports front lip, side skirts are RK and so is the hood. Looks like it has a low-pro wing on.
Who's car is that - someone here? It's a nice looking ride, I'd like to see more of it

 

I think I read in another thread where he said he painted his 2.2L and but the SS/SC body on there with the lip kit.

Its a lip kit for the SS/SC. The hood is the RKSport vented one though. The RKSport front bumper is one whole piece. And its the guy's who posted it.

 

Hmm, that's interesting. Wonder why RK says on their site they're lip kits won't fit on a 2.0/2.4 ss

Anyone else have those chrome door handles? I've read somewhere they're a dealer option, but don't think I'd seen them before. Look good on it. Probably look awesome on a black balt.

Hey everyone, i think these cars look great in white, about my car it is not SS or SC, but does that make it any less sexy, NO!!! It is just slower than most of yours, i do plan to turbo it, but out of cash for now, it's my showbalt!!! It has the SS/SC front bumper, with the rk lip kit and hood, the lip kit is not for the SS bumper but my body shop fit it on with their body shop magic!!!!

 

Dude, you're right, your car is none the less SEXY! How much did your paint job cost? And did they take out the engine and parts to make sure it was ALL white?

 

Dude I definitely wasn't knocking it. You could have a lawnmower motor in that piece and I'd still think it was one of the best looking 'Balts I've seen.
You've got one hell of a body shop. Do you have any more pics of your car? I really do like it a lot.

 

No, it is a factory white car, it is an 05 ls, summit white(factory) I did have the whole car repainted though, it had some small damage and i wanted the hood and bumpers to blend better with the car... LIKE $4000. for everything...

 

Damn, thats going to cost me a pretty penny. lol. But I'm going for it. I must!

You know about the Featured Vehicle threads right? You should post in there. I really appreicate when guys show their stuff off, I've only had mine a month and a half and it gives me ideas for what I want to do.

Im sorry, but white is a HORRIBLE color and only belongs on work trucks and econoboxes because its easy to clean and doesn't show dents. It is so boring and is just an all around bad color. I don't know why people like it.

 

Well, its personal preference is all. I don't think many people think white is 'boring'. I think it looks insanely nice and clean. But thanks for your opinion, cast your vote!

 

White is the new black .. what I mean, white is one of those colors that just lets the lines of the car speak for themselves. And I think for that exact reason - that white is a 'plain' color is why it can look so nice.
If you think white is an ugly color, maybe you've never seen it on a Porsche 911.
