I love my car. I'm always worried that if I enjoy it too much something bad will happen to it. Just wondering if anyone else does the "look back". This is the only car I've ever owned that EVERY time I park it I find I have to turn around and stop and look at it and smile. Been going on for about 8 months now since I got it.

Does that happen to anyone else?

i do every time. i LOVE my car. i wake up walk outside to head to work and just smile at it. the car is so sexy.

Haha I know! It's so funny.....I feel guilty - people look at me funny so I try to hide it more now haha.

 

Yeah, I am proud to walk up to my car in parking lots. People give me lots of compliments on it.

Last night when I parked there were two kids riding scooters around the parking lot, and they came up to my car and were drooling all over it telling me that I had a really cool car.

Even though I am not trying to impress little kids, it's still nice to get compliments and walk to your car to find a few people looking at it and talking about it.

 

Off topic: i love the stripes on your car! are they gunmetal or silver?

 

Yes very much so. Just got mine but I suspect I will be doing it for some time to come.

i always to an i look back again to make sure the lights flash when i lock the door.. then i hit the lick again for the horn... but i still look back to make sure the lights go...

yup. but sometimes, when i know it's dirty i don't. i dont want it mad at me, so i just lock it over my shoulder and dont look back.

Gave a guy a ride home from work and hit it in 1st and he says "I just got a boner" lol
Needless to say he stayed in the back seat while I drove him home LOL

 

Yup. Same here. Best part of my day is walking out from work and seeing my car shining in the sun. Smile every time.

 

And I thought I was the only one that did this.

I try not to, but I always seem to sneek a peek.

 

I do this all the time, I don't even have an SS. Probably because it's my first car though... They're all nice

Haha sounds like me then! It's nice to drive around, but everyone ELSE gets to see it from the outside driving by - it's nice to finally see it when you park it :-)

 

how about those times your driving by a big reflective windowed building?

I cant keep my eyes off it rollin down the road. cuz i never see it like that.

 

whenever i go to a fast food place i seat in a place where i can look at my car while i eat.... is that weird? lol

 

black suv's work well for that too!

 

^ I drove past a big fuel/milk trailer on a truck today, it's a good thing I didn't swerve off the highway - spent the whole time looking at my car.

My favorite time to look while driving is when I see my reflection as I pull up behind someone with fog lights on and headlights off, look so sweet .

This is one of my favorite threads I think, glad we're all obsessed.
