Hey everyone, I have a 2007 Cobalt LT purchased new with only 3 miles on it. From time to time (very intermittently I’d say maybe once every couple of months to half a year) I will see a number displayed on my DIC when I shut it off after driving. So far the numbers that I can remember seeing are: 1,3,4,7,9. I’ve always been curious about what in the world these numbers mean and over the years I’ve never found any information on what these DIC messages indicate. Can anyone give me an answer?

 

It's a conspiracy... They are documenting your daily life activities threw your car and assessing just how much of a threat you pose to "Them." Now that you have been enlightened to the conspiracy you must wear garments made of aluminum to disrupt their signals and to protect yourself.

 

Now that I think about it, the numbers have been going up. I just saw 9 for the first time today.... And I do spout patriotism in my day to day routine with my body.

I keep a roll of tin foil on my person at all times.

Well next time it happens I will get a picture of it. I just have no idea when that will be as i have not noticed any pattern to its occurrence.

It would be hard to believe that I own the only cobalt that will do this. Maybe I should be seeing my doctor to check for a brain tumor?

I've seen 6 and 7 only on my 08 ss. I know what op is talking about but dont know what it is.

I only get $00.50 more hourly than I would during day shift.

 

One job I get $0.50 over other job I get get nothing

 

Nights is hard on the body. And more work expected compared to dayshift. I would not take it for an extra 50 cents.

Nothing is wrong with night shift, says this 3rd shifter, although it is conducive to a strange life style.

And the numbers have not yet returned for me to take a photo of but I am glad im not the only one.

Don’t take me for a fool though. I’ll still be wearing my tin foil garb.
