well, my car is going into the body shop this week cuz some ******* hit me at my bank...i was sitting there talkin to my bank manager and nextg thing u know someone backed into my car...how can u not c a fricken bright red car???? but eh..its not horribly bad, the drivers side fender and rim are scratched and dented...

also, is it just my victory red ss/sc that has orange peel or does ne one else that has one have the same problem.. and that paint chips way to fricken easily...

tell me about hit and run......mine was hit too.......hate those ppl who does hit and run........TAKE SOME RESPONSIBILITY!!.............not planning to fix mine anytime soon....it just costs way too much for the scratch...

 

It's always the ones with the crappy cars too...I had a girl *try* and pull a hit and run on me. I saw the side of my Cavi just as another car with 2 girls in it was pulling out beside of mine and assumed it was them who hit the car just in front of the rear wheel well and dented all the way up to the front wheel well. Chased them on foot, yelling and screaming and ranting and raving (including a few details of what I was going to do when I caught them). About 5 minutes later another girl comes up to me in the parking lot, bawling, confessing it was her, in her 1980 Toyota that hit my car and to "please not kill my friends, they had nothing to do with it."

It's total BS. I hit one parked car - ONE - in my 8 years of driving because the roads were icy and I swearved to miss an oncoming truck and side swiped a car instead. I felt so damn guilty about it I sat there until I found the driver because I didn't even want to leave a note for fear they wouldn't get it. What the hell is wrong with other people????

I in no way condone handling the situation the way I did. In another instance that could have proved to have had really bad consequences, but it was a college campus and all parties involved were mostly harmless. My insurance will cover a hit-and-run as long as you request that a police report be filed, so that to me would be the most sane, logical way to go about handling it.

 

if it was a huge suv or truck they probably wouldnt even have known they hit your car.

 

AHHHH sad how people do that, some a**hole did the same to my poor car 2 weeks ago. It costs around 300 to fix (and thats with my freinds shop)

 

Mine has pretty noticeable orange peel too. Kinda hard to see in the reduced pics, but you can still see it around the edges. You can see it really well in the full res originals.

well my car is in the body shop, 127 for the fender, but im havin the car repainted cuz of rock chips and the orange peel...$684 and some odd cents..oh well...the car looked like ****...i will post some pics of it tomorrow...
