ecotec header

why will the cavalier/sunfire/grand am/alero ecotec headers not work for cobalts/ions ive done some research and i think they will...let me know what you think...the pacesetter headers look the same

Who said it wouldn't? Just curious.

FYI, all the L61s are exactly the same engine wise (internals, bolt patterns etc). The header will fit BUT whatever car it's advertised for, there MIGHT be a issue with fitment inside the engine bay because they do have some differences between engine bay space between the different car platforms but the actual bolting on is the same and will work.

ill let you all know what i find hopefully it works and gives the cobalt/g5/ion guys some more header options

Best way to find out if it does take yours off and measure it up to your old one but i dont think it will personally but you can always try if it did work then why would they not just sell us the ones from those cars but hey if it does good for you now you have a performance header that was just laying around lol

i have a few headers laying around i have a pacesetter and a obx from a previous car i have the gmpp on my car now but i figured it would be worth a try ya know
