Arrow Electronic spoiler

Hey guys i was sitting around and thinking about mods to add to my car cause i'm bored and i thought how cool would it be to make a custom electric rising spoiler, for example under heavy acceleration, high speed and braking it would rise up for down force. Any ideas on this?

08' 2.4L Cobalt SS S/C
Gen 3 block fully built
ZZP supercharger stage 2
150 shot of nitrous (Direct port system)
Haven't dyno yet but its around 380WHP - 400Whp is what i'm estimating with my current build
(Just finished the build 2 days ago xD)

Forget silly spoilers. You're not RWD.

I would like to hear more about your build though.

You would be doing it purely for aesthetics and not function. Unless you have access to a wind tunnel and modelling software so you can design the drag and downforce points. Then you would have to write some kind of software so that it knows to lift under heavy acceleration and braking.

Would be neat to see but yea pointless.

I would just have it pop up when the speedo hits 55mph. Easy enough to write code for that.

Agent 47 did one for a 03/04 Cobra. It was pretty neat.

Rear spoliers help front wheel drive cars as well.... ie. on a road course/track.

but I agree, not worth the effort or money. Better off using that for go fast mods.
