Get the one from Cynic. Then fabricate it to fit properly. Works great. See my post about it. It is in the 2.0l performance area. Called Torque brace issue solved. From what I hear weapon r sucks ass.

You say you had to fabricate the Cynic brace to work but then say Weapon-R one sucks ass. Seems to me that neither one is very good.

I had a Weapon-R torque brace and wasn't to fond of it. I'd skip a torque brace altogether and go with poly engine/trans mounts and/or poly control arm bushings.

I second the skip the torque brace idea. I have the weapon-r brace, nothing wrong with it might i add, however the poly mounts do a much better job of reducing wheel hop, increasing the smootheness of the shifts and making the throttle response better.

Well there is nothing wrong with the cynic brace. Just the top bracket was not made long enough.
A TQ brace will definately help wheel hop.. It doesnt completely eliminate it but it helps a lot.

with a dual brace (like i have) i can burn all day and get maybe 1% of the wheel hop that i ever had. if you preload them correctly you shall not have wheel hop. with the engine mounts you are going to get some engine noise and some vibrations. with a single brace you dont get the vibrations like the mounts and very very little to no engine noise but the stability that you get from the brace. then if you like the complete feel of the dual, like i do, you get some engine noise, NO vibrations (IMO), they really help when you get lowered (like my 2" drop) and i have yet to get wheel hop.

I hear people telling me to pre load them correctly. What is the correct way as mine came with no instructions. I just bolted everything on as tight as I could

see what you need to do is twist the top eye (with the nut) loose so that the brace gets longer (when its still attached to the car) until its very tight then tighten that nut and you are good to do, for the dual brace do that to both. from everything that i have read, been told, and doing it that way i have had very very very little wheel hop and it makes it feel like the tranny has stiffened up due to less movement so i can hit every gear smoother and less change of missing a gear
